How do I get more members in my family?
Answer
Currently, you can add people to your family in 2 ways: Adoption and Relation
Relation indicates an actual BLOOD relation and can only occur ONCE per open relationship type. If the blood relation will effect someone else in the family, they too must be present to accept and confirm the relation. So for example. If your mother is June and you want to relate Bill as your brother, June will have to accept that she is his mother, and he will have to accept her as his mother and you as his sister.
All ways of introducing people into the family occur with the 'Relate' command. The syntax is:
relate <playername>
This will relate this player directly to the HOF. Alternately the HOF can type:
relate <playername> to <membername>
IE: Relate Jill to Joe
This will relate that person to another member in the family.
You will be able to choose the relationship type and if its adoption or blood.
Family relations are automatically set when someone is related or adopted into the family.
In the future, procreation between characters of the opposite gender will be another option for expanding a family.
